Booking conditions
1. Bookings
1.1 All booking are made with Maksatics Camp (MC), UK company registered in UK N9263027 in 2014.
1.2 No Agreement exists until MC has received the application form and required deposit or full payment for the holiday.
1.3 The person signing the application form warrants to MC that he or she has the authority of each child booked (parent or legal guardian.
1.4 This Agreement is subject to United Kingdom laws and jurisdiction.
1.5 No additions, deletions, changes or promises may be made relating to these conditions except in writing by the director of the MC.
2. Payments, cancelation and refund policy.
2.1 Full payments for the holidays contracted including extra services must be received 30 days upon the program starts. For the supplements, clients may subscribe to the MC cancellation service, which offers the complete reimbursement of the all fees in the event of cancelation for the any reason whatsever except for the mentioned events under condition in Para 3. The following condition apply:
2.2.The cancelation service must be requested on the application form – it cannot be added at a later date.
2.3. Full amount of the cost paid by invoice will be refunded if writing cancelation form received 45 days prior to the commencement of Services;
2.4. Up to 50% of the paid cost will be refunded if writing cancelation form received up to 30 days prior to the commencement of Services;
2.5 In case of cancelation form received within the period less than one (1) calendar month prior to the commencement of Services, the cost of booking Services is not refunded.
2.6 In case of occurrence of force majeure (documented circumstances beyond the Client’s control), the MC shall be obliged to return the Client the monies paid by the latter net of the cost of transaction services equal to 5% of the amount refunded.
2.7 In case of decline by the Client (Participant) of Services after the commencement of Program and in the event of early termination of stay of the Participant, the cost of Services is not refunded.
2.8 MC shall not be responsible for any other expenses incurred by the Client in relation to the execution of the Participant’s documents, except those provided for in this Agreement and included in the cost of Services.
3. Events beyond MC control- Adverse weather conditions
3.1. No reimbursements are made for late arrivals or early departures, regardless of the any reason. This also applies in case of natural disasters, conflicts or any other event that mat force MC to cancel their programmes.
3.2. If in MC option, conditions are hazardous due to adverse weather, activities may be curtailed or cancelled. In that case Mc will do everything possible o find alternative activities for its clients.
4. Liability
4.1 MC is pleased to accept full responsibility for the arranging of the suggested programme but not for any service established by the other companies. Accordingly , MC wishes to make it quite clear that it will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any additional expense, distress, disappointment, loss, damage, injury, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity resulting from or attributable to the act or default of any company, firm or person in connection with the carrying out of such arrangements or booking or the convenience of any clients, unless caused by either the proven negligence of, or a proven lack of diligence of MC. Every booking is accepted subject to the conditions imposed by these outside companies or agencies and any claim with respect to such matters must be made against the appropriate principal.
5. Parents’ responsibilities
5.1. Repatriation expenses for any person having to be sent home or to a designated place, due to illness, accident, misbehavior or any other reason deemed valid by MC.
5.2. Any pocket money or any purchase of a personal nature made on behalf of the child for anything not expressly included in the camp package.
5.3. Rental or purchase of any equipment deemed essential for a child to enjoy his/her holiday due to their own equipment being unfit, unsafe or missing.
6. Children’s behavior
MC reserves the right, during their holiday to send any child home or to his/her parents, if in the opinion of MC the child is incompatible with the general well-being of the camp through his/her negligence of said rules and regulations. In this case, all travel costs will be the responsibility of the parents or guardian and no refund of camp fees would be considered.
7. Third party public liability insurance
MC maintains a third party liability insurance, this policy provides an indemnity in respect of legal liability to pay compensation for accidental injury to third parties or accidental loss of or damage to their property. The policy is for GBP 1 000 000 per incident and employers liability of GBP10 000 000.
8. Medical release
By their signature on the application form, parents or legal guardian authorise MC to take whatever action deemed necessary to secure medical treatment for the child at the parents’ or legal guardian’s expense.
9. Promotional materials
MC reserves the right to take photographs or video during the camp sessions to be used for promotional purposes including, but not limited to: daily photo galleries, website, programme brochures, advertisements and for use by MC agents to promote the programmes internationally. Except in cases of testimonials used on our website, social media or in brochures, campers names are not typically used in connection with the media. By signing this Agreement YOU agree that all copyright in the Materials belongs to MC and consent to MC using the Materials for marketing and training purposes.
10. Personal data protection
MC will save YOUR contact details to tell YOU about future products and services provided by Makastics Camp. WE shall not pass YOUR contact details onto any third party. If YOU do not wish US to provide YOU with information in the future, please let US know and WE will ensure YOU are removed from OUR contact list.
IMPORTANT
When teaching dance and other activities, it may be necessary to correct student’s posture or bodyline. This may require physical contact to be made. Any contact of this sort is strictly in line with the MC Child Protection Policy, we published on the website.
MC aim to be open about what the MC offers and meet the obligations, and the expectations of all involved. If something goes wrong, MC need to know to take an action and learn from the experience.
